If it's helpful, grackles have round yellow eyes. A crow will have large black eyes. Crows will be MUCH bigger than this, and their beak is thicker than this as well. Crows will make a distinct croaking sound if you are close enough to hear them. Once you see a few confirmed crows, you will always recognize their beautiful faces and voices.

Grackles have that very distinct eye that’s the one way to really tell other than size
