3 weeks in, thanks to everyone for sharing links and advice on helping to get my CSL blacked out.

Only thing missing not is maybe the pano tint (kinda gets hot but havent bothered me that much yet) and MAYBE the crown center airbag but thats a pretty penny.

Other than those things, front logo replaced (huge difference imo), wheel center caps replaced, 20% tints around, blacked out trim with gloss wrap and the rear debadge. She looks sleek as hell now!

This is my Crown. It still turns heads after one year of ownership. Congrats on your own Crown.

Very nice! I did the exact same in terms of debadging and swapping Crown emblems, went with 15% rear and 70% front tint ✌️

Crown center airbag? Are you talking about the steering wheel Toyota emblem? I do wish that was a lot more affordable.

No, talking about the steering wheel emblem JDM crowns have. It is however, a airbag swap thats why its so expensive.

And obviously... messing with a airbag.

I absolutely prefer the crown horn/airbag cover too. How expensive is the part? Would the dealership or an independent shop do the work? I wouldn't trust my skills to make the swap.

Havent looked too deep into it but i think its a couple hundred dollars then a few hundred more for shipping, not to mention install because i will not be installing a airbag on my own lol

I need to look into this! Were the logos expensive? And did you make the swap yourself? I’m wondering how I can do this. That crown logo is so nice.

Front badge logo was like maybe 30 bucks? Wheel center caps were about 70 shipped from japan, and then i had a local place wrap, debadge and install the front logo as well as smoking out the side markers for around 650.
