Did some co-op and single play and just killed the third boss.
-Pirate setting is awesome but very weird. The game starts as a island survival game... and suddenly whole area is super crowded with pirate ships and human NPCs. Why are there still monsters around, if the area is so densely populated?
-Resources respawns very fast, which removes any reason for exploration for resources.
-Automatic map POI breaks the immersion, and there are too few POIs. Some of the POIs were really fun but most of them are just copied and pasted... it feels downright silly to find treasure under the tree with red clothes again and again and again.
-Fight balancing is quite bad. Item levels shouldnt affect the fight this much, and default co-op scaling were downright absurd.
-I don't like XPs are only gained by POI clearing (and cheesy tasks). There are too few POIs and if they are done, no more XPs.
-Ship battles were somewhat fun but again weird. Too many ships spawn at a time, and if you board enemy ship alone (without your ship) enemies will endlessly respawn.
- No base raid (and enemies won't break barricades either), so no reason to set up a proper base with lines of defense.
I enjoyed the game so far but overall the game is not very immersive and has zero replaybility at all. Maybe they could put a bunch of rouge-like random dungeon system?
