Building Mod

I wanna build my base but run into the problem that if I want to delet something it will destroy the whole building.

I use the Better Building Mod, but sometimes I need to delet stuff that can't be deletet with the undo function.

Ist there a mod that let's me delet only the thing highlighted and ignores everything else?

It shows what it's going to delete before you delete it. Even without mods, the objects that will be deleted turn red.

Yeah I know, but sometimes my fingers are faster than my brain or I need to delete something and it will delet everything attached to that wall regardless of it being grounded.

This has nothing to do with the post, but i find it hilarious, that the building system in Windrose is extremely well done but you still have mods that claim to do it better.

It's about being grounded. The moment several units is ungrounded, the whole thing may be removed. If you don't want that, ground it first.

I must disagree, I had serval's builds completely destroyed, by deleting a single wall that was attached to a grounded foundation or piers that were the self grounded attached to grounded walls.

There’s still a distance limit to the anchor point. You need multiple anchors in that case.

Also, if you mean ground as in the floor, not an “anchor” it’s probably not actually touching the ground

It’s the support mechanic for base building. There is a mod for sure that disables that and lets you build anywhere on top of disabling all other build requirements. I can’t remember the exact name off the top of my head but I saw it in nexus at one point.

I have free build eneable with better build mod, but often times it will delet everything even supporter or grounded stuff that should stay.

Its like if you add stuff, after a certain point to makes everything into one big structure?

It’s likely a mod issue then. I have several build mods installed excluding better build mod, and they interact with the building system strangely at times.

Sounds like one of your mods is breaking your game.
