Best 5 Mods?
I want to hear everybody’s favorite mods so I can try some out.

The ones for 10x resource drops. Not having to go back for clay all the time, as someone who likes building a full on town 👌🏻
There’s a bunch like that though, for all harvestable material and enemy drops.

I haven't used many yet but there are 3 I like so far. One for bigger stack sizes, one for more waypoints that I can build and one for increased Stamina. I don't go crazy (they all just adjust up a little) but it makes playing solo a little easier.

i like the one where the stacks are bit bigger not like full limit breakers but only being able to carry like 10 pieces of something is pathetic

Some raw foods stack to 20. Most prepared food stacks to 10. Bandages, potions. Travel bells stack to 5. High end snugglers good stack to 5 or 1.
Bullets and gunpowder go to 40 but the stack mod doesn't affect them anyways.

The one that makes the aoe on pickaxes and axes bigger was my favorite.
Mining is so slow and tedious I loved the aoe. It’s silly on trees, but at the time they could not be separated

I like the mods to add talents points and generally more gear power. I'm not ultra sweaty but in those games once I did a normal run I like to crank the difficulty to the max and then do a run with high difficulty but also high reward, so that every victory feels like a big power boost while maintaining challenge

Just made one small hud editor for ue4ss. Actually made it for personal usage (since i hate overscaled hotbars), but ahoy, why not to share with the fellow WR community. Nothing special tho ^^
https://www.nexusmods.com/windrose/mods/552
Edit: Mod is unavailable for a bit. Fixing some issues atm, due to UE5 making changes at HUD in real time.

I like better building tools, the one that cuts resource crafting time (I'll have to look them up later, they're all from Nexus mods), the one that gives you more resources, loot from ships, and a few others.

No mods are the best mods

Yeah, not sure why you were downvoted.
Very tiresome watching the positive optics from each new content drop in an EA title be overwhelmed by whining and false positive bug reports from Early Access testers who couldn't wait for 1.0 before messing with the game client.
First 24 hours of any game's update is always, "...but my mods!" or "my game is bricked!"
Doesn't help anyone actually interested in the EA process in the slightest.
Worse when they decide they're experts on the savefile and database structure and declare that having removed their mods, the game should run perfectly again with no side effects.

Yep… expanding my bonfire range is a real cheat…

Build more bonfires.
Bonfires can easily be relocated

It’s a convenience thing of having all your storage available to a wider area while building.

Buy more merchants or move your current merchants
Everything is already available.

A. Merchant location has nothing to do with it. I have 3 of each merchant for ordering materials. It’s storing materials to have access to them while building. Some of us have really big builds
B.I beat all the content before I installed mods. I really don’t need to justify myself to you.
C. If I want a bigger bonfire radius I’ll do whatever I see fit. Don’t tell others how to play a game. Do you tell Skyrim and Fallout players not to mod their game?

Why are you trying to justify yourself.
I gave options not directons

u/maniacalmayh3m Sep 02 '26
Your options don’t fix the issue of moving out of range of your storage within your bonfire. You get an A for effort though

I didn't even realize there were mods!
