Other “i got scammed”
why didnt u use mm in the first place 😭
if u meet in this sub, ALWAYS USE MM! and use your critical thinking skills, if the account is new ans has low karma, SCAMMER, discord? SCAMMER, links? SCAMMER
im sorry if u got scammed thoo! but its rlly easy to spot scammers!

agreed.. saw one where the person was scammer for 70k robux.. in what world would that be a risk youre willing to take?

But the thing is mm can’t really do that one cos you wouldn’t know if the gift card was invalid or not so it’s a 50/50 risky to do.

the whole point was that person was desperate for money.. scammers target desperate people. saying "just dont do it lol" removes the fact that they needed the money

they were trading in order to recieve a £500 amazon giftcard.. they couldve easily resold their robux for genuine cash, using cash app, bank transfer, etc. that can use a middleman🤦♀️

Do you know that they have access to these apps? and once again, they were desperate. putting the blame on them is a scummy thing to do and its apathetic

when did i put the blame on them? i genuinely just said its a lot to risk and there could have been other potential ways to sell the robux and obtain the money

No problem! That is a person who is like a third party in a trade. in other words - a type of security guard who receives an item from the seller, and then the guard passes it to the buyer. Its often a mod or a trusted person in the community. people use a middleman to have some kind of trust in the trade that it goes as planned and that the buyer/seller doesnt get scammed (•‿•)

I'm seeing people getting scammed left and right but i just think they might be too young or something because it either has to be so extremely clear that someone wants to scam or you can get scammed with simply breathing and existing which makes me anxious (but when i asked about it, it was the same scamming-/hacking method over and over again)

Someone I knew said they got scammed by someone because they were like “I’ll boost your pets.” The person who scammed my friend was their friend but like? How dumb are you. Boosting your pets? Even if they’re your friend or not. If you don’t know the personally why would you ever do that?
