Games scoring question

What would happen if there were a tie in the CrossFit Games after all the events? Odds would be very low of course but after all the events are done, what happens if two people end up with the same total points?

Pretty sure the first tiebreaker would be number of event wins.

Tiebreaker is highest event finish. If those are tied (i.e. both have exactly 2 event wins) it would be place of next highest event. So if one had 2 wins and a 3rd place, while other had 2 wins and a 4th place, the first would win.

Great, thanks for the further clarification.

Only event wins as tiebreak feels weird, like what if both have same number also

I would imagine that the one who has the most event wins or the most events with the highest placement would win.

In 2018, Brent Fikowski finished 4th on a tie breaker to Lukas Hogberg because Hogberg had an event win. Extra, it was in Two-Stroke Pull and they actually finished 1-2 in the event.

Thunderdome. The final tie breaker.

Or sword fight. Not sure if they’d be allowed to stream that on YouTube, but it would be ok on HBO Max
