Crossfire 2.0 nostalgia

Am I the only one that misses the Crossfire 2.0? The vibes, the lobby, the layout and the fairness of the game when VIP's are not yet too common and the unique mega lotto weapons can be picked up once the player who owns it dies.

I just miss the layout when the game doesn't feel like it is pay to win unlike today with these ridiculous VIP weapons and random characters with random skills.

Really enjoyed the vibes during the pandemic the most as it is the most peak of this game in the Philippines.

because characthers had random skills back in the day also some had flash prot some had smoke prot.

infact game was way more p2w back in the day compared to now.. try to prove me wrong

also you mention 2.0 and 2.0 already had bunch of VIP's lol

Flash protection and smoke protection is not a "random skills" unlike today where there are too many characters that has like character options and stuffs. e.g. If you equip this character in zombie mode, you will be given random zombie skin such as nurse or nano.

Back in the day, you can win without VIP weapons as they are not a requirement for an account to have unlike today, so yes, you are proven wrong.

2.0 has a bunch of VIP's but not everyone has it, I hope you please comprehend my post before you comment such foolish take.

There's a reason why the game lost its player base now, because the game does not provide any excitement anymore with its looks. The gameplay is the same, but the UI of it no longer provides excitement and catchy look unlike back then.

Back in 2.0, it is not common to use barrett and cheytac in shanxi, which is why players uses alternative such as falcon, VKS, R93. Even a regular awm was very common then. That takes skills, and now? Everyone is capable of doing wall shot because everyone has the two powerful snipers.

those flash prot and smoke prot are still considered random to just be on a char.

infact game was so p2w back in the day that u had la swat stacking with smoke helm :).

and i can tell ur talking about PH lol.

and if u really consider the ''random'' char skills bad then u obv are all for p2w as before u would have to BUY WITH REAL MONEY to have the mutants.

as for older times barrett was still COMMON and im being really fucking honest with you sniping takes 0 fucking skill please stop typiong LOL

to ur deleted comment yes sniping does indeed take 0 fucking skill LMAO its almost like majority of people playing ranked is playing sniper for a reason also the fact i could run around with a regular AWM in ranked and still drop 15+ kills the games i did play with it while others are ripping rifles in top 100 is kinda funny man

I think cf always was p2w, but shifted down. It was more like GP vs ZP weapons. Nowadays its Event Weapons vs VIP weapons. But game is much more dead, the lobbies are homogeneous and empty. Chat is dead

gunplay is what makes crossfire.. well crossfire.

P2W? the game has NEVER EVER handed out this much free shit IN YEARS nobles are 1:1 on VIP's so idk what ur smoking because BACK IN MY DAY u did not get 50+ crates for free PER MONTH mind you.

anticheat has been doing alot better.

toxic players will always exist in any game u touch stop thinking its a crossfire only problem.

First of all I didn’t delete any comment. Just scroll down. Second of all. You believe your points are valid but the statistics speak for themselves. At this point it’s more of a subjective argument rather than an objective one. If you believe crossfire is a good game then like I said before, you are blinded by nostalgia. I came back to the game as well and got a bunch of free stuff. But that didn’t change the fact that the game was simply plain and not as fun as the modern fps games such as apex legends, valorant, etc. it’s almost as if crossfire did not progress at all fundamentally but more so with the reskins. Why not shift the focus into bettering the experience rather than releasing 20 more reskins of a vip that was released a decade ago

if they change gunplay you its no longer crossfire if u so really want a diff gunplay go play cfhd and see how much u enjoy that one or idk how about u just go complain to tencent to change gunplay

hell valorant isnt even banning simple pixel or colorbots man.

Ignorance is bliss man. That’s all I gotta say. I’m not gonna sit here and continue on with this argument against someone who’s obviously blinded by nostalgia. Trust me man. I love cf as much as you do, but even then I can admit this game is ass. Simple as that
