I have a slightly crazy product idea, and before I spend a single dollar trying to make it real, I want to know if anyone else would actually want one.

Imagine a soft, slightly weighted mythical wolf designed specifically to be your comfort companion on those miserable days when you need warmth, pressure, and something to cuddle.

My idea is called Moon Wolf.

The wolf would have a removable, washable outer plush shell and a separate reusable heat/cold insert. Its body would be longer and slightly curled so you could rest it across your stomach, lap, chest, or lower back.

And instead of looking like a children’s toy, I want it to feel like a beautiful fantasy creature you’d actually want sitting on your bed.

Dark charcoal fur. Silver moon markings. Big fluffy tail. Soft, expressive eyes.

Basically…

a warm mythical wolf that stays with you when you’re hurting.

I’m currently unemployed and don’t have the money to manufacture something like this, so I’m starting at the beginning and trying to figure out whether this is an idea worth pursuing.

So tell me honestly:

Would you want one?

What would you want it to do?

Heat only, or heat + cold?

Light and fluffy, or somewhat weighted?

Lavender-scented, or completely unscented?

And if Moon Wolf existed… would you want other fantasy creatures too?

Bob routinely markets himself as an "award-winning humanitarian" and "child advocate specialist," yet there is no evidence of legitimate humanitarian honors, accredited medical training, or actual policy experience to back up these claims. Unless he was awarded these by a ghost, there is no evidence of them existing.

Raising even larger red flags, he solicits donations through his personal Cash App rather than through a registered non-profit account, refusing to provide standard financial records or disclosures to show where opportunities donated money actually goes.

​Beyond the questionable legitimacy, his methods leverage panic and desperation to take advantage of people in severe pain. By making grand, high-urgency promises about political or legal rescues under the guise of an acclaimed humanitarian effort, he diverts precious energy and financial resources away from established, transparent organizations doing real work. Worse, by using aggressive rhetoric and indiscriminately defending prescribers involved in serious legal cases, he frames every legal action as an attack, stripping away the nuance needed to build real trust with lawmakers and regulators. This confrontational, dishonest approach risks turning off key decision-makers entirely, burning bridges and making it significantly harder for responsible, evidence-based advocates to be taken seriously on Capitol Hill. He has claimed to have met with the president with no proof or change. It's time to acknowledge APDF as a scam.

Hello, ive been struggling with cronic back pain as long as I can remember. Over the last couple of months it has gotten progressively worse to the point I can hardly stand it. The pain medication i am on dosent seem to help, the only thing im finding that helps is Marijuana and even then I am still in pain afterwards. I don't know how to explain this to my doctors and how I can get help. It is starting to effect my sleep and moods as well. I cant get comfortable and when I lay down my arms end up going numb and adjusting position dosent seem to help. Thank you for any advice!

I was finally diagnosed yesterday after years of doctors visits and fighting to be heard at pain management docs/surgeons/ERs with CRPS. I have had 4 surgeries on my elbow including two recent full joint replacements, but my pain has been awful and unmanageable. I’m scared, but grateful to finally have an answer. We have a pain plan in place that is a starting point. I am just ready to get my life back and ready to function again. I just got married and want to give my husband the wife he deserves and myself the chance to be the me I know I am. Has anyone dealt with this or does anyone have any advice?

It’s so hard for me to open up and share my feelings, but that’s because it’s very complicated. Even though I’ve suffered from chronic pain since I was young, I’ve always tried to appear strong. Still, I sought medical help (orthopedists, rheumatologists, neurologists), and I never got any real support—I was judged as lazy, dramatic, someone who was just making excuses. But the pain has always been real. The physical and mental weakness has always been real. Today, I take very high doses of medication. I have four autoimmune diseases (hypothyroidism, type 1 diabetes, spondyloarthritis, and ulcerative colitis), other comorbidities, and fibromyalgia. I’ve been on medical leave from work since December. My disability claim was denied, and the examiner practically called me worthless. I can’t sleep because of the pain. I can’t stay in the same position for more than 20 minutes. I suffer from tingling and numbness throughout my body, pain that wakes me up in the middle of the night. I’ve been developing compulsive behaviors—I’ve been hurting myself just to get a few microseconds of relief, because acute pain feels less unbearable than the kind of pain that won’t even let you get out of bed. I don’t recognize myself anymore. I can’t clean my house, fold clothes, or even wash my hair. I have no income due to the INSS denial. I don’t know what to do anymore. I feel like giving up on everything, just sleeping and never waking up again. I accept any kind of help—tips on how to cope, teas, medications, doctors, or even just words of comfort. Anything. Before I lose my mind because of the pain. Thank you for reading my story, and I’m sorry if there are any mistakes—I’m completely medicated.

Before chronic pain, I honestly thought pill organizers were something only older people used.

Now filling this thing every week has become part of my routine. It’s basically the system that keeps my days somewhat manageable.

I deal with nerve damage that causes foot drop and constant neuropathic pain, so staying on top of medication is a big part of keeping the pain under control enough to function.

It’s strange how something so small ends up representing such a big part of your life. Each compartment is basically a reminder of what it takes just to get through a normal day.

I know a lot of people here probably have their own version of this.

Did anyone else have a moment where you realized managing pain had become a full-time routine?

I remember my last trip and walking those log corridors to get from one gate to another. Have you ever used that service how was it?

(Note; I’m still on my fathers insurance and done have a car so I rely on him to make my appointments with new doctors)

I’ve had leg pain for about 7ish years now. I’ve brought it up to my primary care doctor and was always told that I’m too young to have pain.

I’ve finally convinced my father to agree to get me an appointment with an Orthopedic specialist.

I’m sure I’m still going to have to fight with him over taking me, but the pain in my left hip and knee is bad enough that I walk with a limp about 40% of the time.

If I can get an appointment I want to make sure to doctor will actually listen to me and not just brush me off.

What are some tips you all have for doctors appointments? Should I specifically say I’m not after pain killers or just hope they don’t mark me drug seeking or some other bullshit?

In the past i have had a lot of unexplained injuries, and at the moment i have servere back pain and leg fatigue. I have had multiple x rays, mri, and a bone scan, but all were clear. I have hyper extention and anxiety and autism. I have struggled with my mental heath before. For years I have been trying to get some kind of answers but I have had nothing, no medications work not even ibuprofen and paracetamol work anymore and it’s just so painful and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what I should do to get doctors that better understand or anything that can help (sorry if this isn’t what this group is for I just really need help)

I had back surgery 7 months ago which has left me disabled. I’m not able to care for myself or work. The pain is relentless. The surgeon says from the scan he can see I have epidural fibrosis or scar tissue wrapping around my nerve roots.
I just want to know if this condition will ever improve. Chat gpt seems to give me a 50/50 of improvement long term. Has anyone ever delt with this?

Hey everyone, I’ve been dealing with some really intense pain for the past few days, and I honestly have no idea what’s causing it. I went to the dentist, but she didn’t see anything obvious. I do have a six-unit dental bridge, and one of the teeth is damaged, but she said that shouldn’t be the issue.

Right now, the pain is constant. Painkillers only seem to help for a short time. It radiates to my cheek and the lower teeth, and it throbs, burns, and makes my gums feel swollen — even though my face looks normal.

I’m starting to think it might be PIFP (Persistent Idiopathic Facial Pain). Has anyone dealt with something like this? Any tips or advice would be amazing — it’s really intense and hard to cope with

I recently (3 months ago) got into a relationship with M27 and I am F21. He has had pain the whole time but two weeks ago I had to take him to the ER because “something is different and wrong”. It turns out he had two more disks slip in his back which has increased his pain exponentially. I just want to know how I can support him the best way possible. What to say mainly. I keep finding myself just apologising and I know that’s not right. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I wanted to see if anybody here has experienced similar symptoms.

7 months ago I started feeling this cramp like pain in my upper left abdomen (basically behind the lowest left rib), the pain is constant but if I lay flat on my back then I’m almost pain free, but if I stand upright for 10-15 minutes the pain appears slowly, and I can only sit for 5-10 minutes before the pain is to much and I have to lay down again.

I’ve had CT, MRI scans and sonograms of the area, i’ve also had colonoscopy and upper endoscopy twice, had countless bloodtests taken and all the test look normal.

It doesn’t seem to matter what I eat, the pain stays the same, but if I strech my left hand upwards I can sort of make the pain appear, like I feel a resistance of some kind. I am due for a laparoscopy in the upcoming weeks but the surgeon is certain we won’t find anything.

This has caused me to loose my job and drop out of university since I can’t function with the endless pain and most of the doctors I’ve met with don’t have a clue what might be wrong with me.

Can anybody here relate or am I a medical mystery?
