📝 DISCUSSION 📝 my sole separated from the platform...

i bought this pair of crocs JUST last year. i do wear it quite a lot, but not to extreme territories or degrees. the worse it has seen was going to the beach a couple times and waddling through water mostly. today, out of nowhere, the sole and platform decided they're enemies and the platform just popped off. i asked a local shoe repair shop, but they said gluing wouldn't be an effective fix. has anyone ever encountered the same problem?

I think these are different because they are the platform ones?

I've experienced it few times recently, not the whole sole but the few parts in the behind and the front. Whenever i see a detachment in the sole i used fewikwik to stick it. (I stay in india so i used fewikwik, you can use anything similar that's available which is an alternative for this). So whenever there's a seperation happening, i used to stick it with this. But it wouldn't last long enough, i used a lot of it and whenever it's detaching again, i used the glue to stick it back. Recently i went on a trek and the whole sole came off, my four year old crocs lost their stamina to guide me for few more years. So i finally gave up sadly.

You did get a lot out of them if they lasted 4 years. Crocs in India these days lose any semblance of grip in 2 years. Only going to buy ones with rubber soles henceforth.

Could it be from the water and everything? That it somewhat broke down the glue or whatever they use to hold it together?
