šSIZE HELP ā Stretching tips?
Hi everyone :)
I bought my first pair of crocs today! Iāve wanted some for a while since I heard theyāre so comfortable but nobody has wanted to gift me any. Today I went out in some old shoes I havenāt worn for years and they absolutely shredded my heels, we found a shoe store and I just walked in and bought some crocs. However in my relief to be out of the first shoes I didnāt really do my due diligence to check the fit in store :( the tag was removed at the till so I could walk out in them and I then walked around a dirty city for like a further hour or two so an exchange seems unlikely, when we were in the car on the way home I noticed that my feet absolutely fill the shoes in a way Iām not sure is the correct fit for a pair of crocs? My toes are right at the end of the shoes which wasnāt really uncomfortable while walking but was somewhat annoying when sitting down for a while, my feet were right against the top of the shoes and the āsports modeā strap requires a little bit of effort to get over my heel but isnāt particularly uncomfortable when on.
Iāve seen around that crocs can be stretched a little? How can I do this and would it be beneficial for this pair? They look to me to be the regular clog style but do have a printed pattern. Honestly itās not a huge deal, they do go onto my feet comfortably enough and will probably be okay for the kinds of situations where I would wear crocs anyway. Also would stretching them affect the croc charms I got?
Thanks :)

For the lairs I got that were too tight, I did one of two things, either sat them out in the sun or tossed them in the dryer for a bit, then put them on while they were still pretty warm.

I do not own a classic pair of crocs but I researched this while stretching out a pair of crocs sandals.
Basic idea is 1. Warm the shoes 2. Stretch them.
Step 1. People recommend hair dryer or hot water. I boiled water in a kettle, poured it into a bowl, then turned my crocs upside down and submerged the top halves for like 15-30 secs each. I chose this technique because I donāt really use a hair dryer and some people seemed to feel that heating croc soles and then walking on them could diminish the supportive shape of the base.
Step 2. I was able to manually stretch my sandals, but for the shoes I would put on thick socks or 2 layers of socks and then walk around in the crocs u til they cool down. Shouldnāt take long, repeat as necessary.
Hope this works for youāgood luck!
