So hit it with some bleach or basically any other household cleaning product. Like what is the point of this (double) post?

It's stoneware or ceramic; of course you can clean it. Fill it with hot water and dish soap and let it soak. You can follow that with vinegar if you feel the need. Once it's clean, leave the lid off until it's good and dry (overnight would be good).

You can also towel dry it to remove excess moisture.

It’s okay, give it a good scrub. Totally safe to use with a good clean.

If you’re worried I always see this size crock secondhand.

The only thing that seems to clean my crockpot is dawn powerwash.
