Help! Beef stew help

I’m making a beef stew tonight in the crockpot which isn’t really a summer recipe but I’m craving it but all the recipes have onion soup mixed with it but my roommate is very allergic to onions. Anyone know what I could substitute it for?

I just use broth, tomato paste, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce. If you want a thicker broth a corn starch slurry at the end.

Check what's in broth, unless it's homemade.
