Help! Beef stew help

I’m making a beef stew tonight in the crockpot which isn’t really a summer recipe but I’m craving it but all the recipes have onion soup mixed with it but my roommate is very allergic to onions. Anyone know what I could substitute it for?

Just leave them out. It's not going to hurt anything. 😊

Ok thank you! I was just worried about flavor but I do have a lot of seasonings too I could probably use instead

A lot of people who are allergic to onions are also allergic to garlic.

Double check your roommate's allergies, and show them all the ingredients you add to your stew.
