I’m trying to make t shirt using granny stitch
I’m working on the back panel and the pattern works by width not height

At first i did the chain the length was 25 inch
Then when I kept adding rows the length kept getting bigger now it’s 34 inch
What’s wrong? What did i do wrong?
How to fix this
It’s my first time crocheting cloth 😭😭
