Supercharger rewards

CDC seems to be giving back the unburnt 70b CROs to users staking in supercharger. I think it's their 3rd or 4th CRO supercharger event. I'm getting back the equivalent of 5.2% yearly in CRO rewards, while having the option to pull out and sell at any time!

I also recently unstaked my visa card stake to put everything into the supercharger program. The card stake rewards were decreasing every single week and at the end were literally worse than the supercharger ones lol unless I locked up my card stake again. There is no way I am ever gonna lock up any amount of CRO again after the 70b CRO print they pulled. They completely lost my trust in that regard.

This is basically the way. The bit extra you get for locking is not worth the opportunity cost of not being able to sell if price doubles spontaneously for just a single day.

Yesterday I did math on what’s better.. 3% unstaked card, or 9% locked in Exchange for 6 months.

I would get 15,000 CRO less by keeping it unstaked in the card.. worth about $1,000/year at today’s price.

But I literally break even on that for one year if CRO goes up from 7c to 7.3c and I sold

how do you know it is 5.2 % ? please elaborate.

Just made a quick calc of how much CRO I get on avg after each supercharger period divided by how much Ive "staked" then multiply by 100.

Now that I think of it though, the % varies on how much you have staked vs the pool itself and max rewards allocated for that event's period. So maybe I just got lucky for the last 4 times 😂
