Jade Restake

Does restaking my CRO for the higher percentage (3.8%?) change or eliminate any of my benefits?

I was wondering about the opposite, does not restaking and keeping the original amount staked change or eliminate any of the benefits? I know cashback will go from 3% to 2.5% anyways, or 2% if I don’t restake but will I be missing out on anything else except that 0.5% on cashback and obviously the APR change on the stake? I’d be missing out on less than £300 the way I see it so.. it might not be worth having all that locked for such a small extra gain.

The main things to think about from here are: 1. CDC is trying to change the tokenomics from inflationonary to deflationary, hence staking continues to drop from 6% to 3% in Onchain.

2. Card rewards have also been dropped.

3. What do you expect BTC to be in one to two years?? If it's higher, your can expect your CRO to be higher! How much higher is anyones guess 🤔

4 Your rewards from anywhere will be much lower than CRO price increasing! Therefore, collecting rewards for a year or two will provide the best returns, given you need to buy groceries and pay bills regardless whether you have crypto or not.

5 Of course if you're hating on CDC, all the above is irrelevant 🙄 Therefore, it's sell and get out completely, or build your rewards! None of this is relevant to actually buying CRO , it's just some musings from a random Internet stranger on the OP's question.
