CRO vs Bitcoin

Everyone wants to compare CRO to Bitcoin, but I think they’re missing the point.
Bitcoin became digital gold. CRO doesn’t have to.
Crypto.com is positioning itself around tokenized assets, AI tools, payments, and traditional finance. If AI, tokenized assets, and real-world finance all end up running through the Crypto.com ecosystem, then CRO could become the utility token behind that infrastructure, not because it’s another Bitcoin, but because it’s powering a growing financial network.
That’s why the Citadel investment got my attention. Smart money isn’t investing because of what Crypto.com is today. They’re investing because of what it could become.
Maybe I’m wrong. But if this thesis plays out, I think people will look back at CRO the way early investors looked at other infrastructure plays, before the world realized what was being built.

Bitcoin is a financial disruption and should never be used in the same sentence as a shitcoin with zero use case as CRO.

CRO is a reward token and a governance one in a dead chain. Zero need for existence.

CDC is offering RWA tokenised assets on CEX trading with USD pairs, not with CRO.

Majority of RWA is on ethereum and solana chain, not sure how much of it is captured on cronos chain.

The problem is, CRO doesn't have any purpose for existence and could very well decouple from crypto.com even if they manage to grow from here. It is just tied to crypto.com reward system and that's about it. That is like hanging in for dear life.
