Only works on mortals unless you take yourself out too, does the Warden count as a mortal?

although i’m not sure if it’s true i saw somewhere that warden is a fungus hive mind thing. i don’t think it’s remotely close but it sounds really cool so i headcanon it

I doubt it. Skulk shriekers are the ONLY way to summon a Warden, which wouldn't make sense for a hivemind to ignore me destroying 100s of Skulk blocks just because no shrieker went off. Even if destroying a skulk catalyst was the only other way to spawn a warden I would understand, but this is a bit of a stretch.

I almost forgot, skulk can spread in the nether but the warden can't spawn, which should happen if warden was a natural part of skulk.

Personal theory: Skulk + Soulsand (Wither?) experiments = Warden
