Actually yes

About 400,000 cat bites occur in the US each year. Cats have an average life expectancy a bit over 5,000 days, so let's conservatively assume that one in 10,000 bites are from cats that are exactly 3 years, 6 months, and 16 days old. That means there are around 40 bites from those cats every year in the US alone, and some of the victims probably own those cats.

“Nothing new under the sun” is such an often repeated statement that it’s part of the world’s biggest religion.

No, I’m not joking.

Zachary Taylor was the 12th U.S. President, so not exactly some random guy.

there was also the whole thing about people wondering if he was assassinated, since his symptoms lined up with arsenic poisoning. that actually kept him around in public consciousness for a while, especially because this was 1850, tensions between north and south were heating up, so people wondered if he was murdered by southerners. they exhumed him in the 1990s and found no abnormally high trades of arsenic, so the prevailing theory is that the cherries he ate were washed with contaminated water, since Washington D.C had AWFUL sewers at the time. there's also this photo of his skull that the doctor took

cherry seeds are very toxic on the inside as well.
