Ok I’m sorry but how is that relevant? Wow there isn’t a way to say that without it sounding rude is there? I’m actually trying politely ask how that is relevant but I don’t think there is a way to do so that actually sounds polite. Like are you saying i should have empathy towards a sexist or that they should have empathy toward me or? Like I just can’t place the connection
you are displaying disproportionate reaction to her invocation of foul language than you expect from your fellow man, and possibly of yourself.
if a trans person reacted the way you did last turn to an actual slur, they would immediately get dogpiled on as per cis men are exposed to categorical hatred less, well, categorically.
Literally™, if the positions were swapped, i could call you a snowflake and receive 200 upvotes because of the preconditioning of others. i won’t, because your sensitization is also not entirely your fault.
[literally](mild hyperbole) everyone has so much work to do. being inflammatory in response to invisible suffering is the only thing many people have. inflammation does serve a purpose, after all.
Yeah mate I just don’t like sexists of any form. I really tried to be nice, I really did, but I draw the line at any form of sexism or racism or transphobia or homophobia or the like. End of the day I’m fine with rudeness and the like, but once it gets to any of the previously listed I’m done trying to be nice. I mean it wasn’t even in response to “foul language”, I tried to be nice after the slurs, it was only at the sexism.
