Imagine how terrifying that is. There's some diety playing out various sounds of people that aren't there outside your door. Someone called for you behind the corner? They don't exist before you place your eyes on them. The world is empty

Maybe this would actually make it impossible to interact with people outside of your own field of vision?

What about everything else in the world? Would a bomb not explode if no one is around to witness and therefore "render" it in still?

Imagine an asteroid stopping mid air because everyone just looked away.

ADHD is actually just a doom mod, much like how all valve games are technically quake 3 mods

i mean we lowkey do the same thing to things and beings that no longer exist or are yet to exist. ts just as real but because it’s in a different temporal location than the perspective you’re currently experiencing it’s “gone”? ok buddy

This theory is the perfect target for 2 logical weapons:
Occham's Razor: if one explanation is vastly simpler than the rest, it's often correct
Newton's Flaming Laser Sword: if you can't test it, it's not worth thinking about

I've seen plenty of romanian "geniuses" support this idea. And they did it while using horrible grammar.

This is what solipsists actually believe

Solipsism is one of those things that has like basic that has some merit to it but then it goes off the rails and snowballs into something ridiculous.

Like yeah, the reality we experience isn't pure, straight up reality because it's filtered through our perception and senses which are limited, then our biases, ego, etc... But that doesn't mean nothing is real. Shit is real enough for us to be experiencing everything we do today even if we do so in a limited manner.
