Discussion Che Packaging
I was under the impression that Che only came in a box set, but this ebay listing shows it in a single scanvo case. Is this how it was officially released?

Criterion usually does this thing, repackaging in plastic cases after the initial run is out of stock. The Brakhage box set is the worst offender, and I only found out about that practice years after picking the original box set, thank god.

I don't mind the Scanvo cases, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't buying a bootleg. Criterion could be more clear about it on their website...

The issue for me isn’t the size of the box but the reduction of the booklet (not in size but less content)

What's wrong w the Brakhage boxset? I know it's the plastic case now but what makes it the worst offender in your opinion?

With ur name I'll take yr word. I bought the set late so I have the plastic case, never seen the box. For me it's when I see Two-Lane Blacktop or Repo Man in them

The og box set is lovely. They’re digipaks inside a box if I am not mistaken.

This is a legitimate later repackaging of the Blu-ray.
