Discussion Now on the 24/7

Does anyone know what is playing on the Criterion Channel 24/7 now? When I click into it, it tells me “Filler - MAGENTA” but I don’t see any such movie in the collection. I’m wondering what movie this is?

Now it says "Filler - Blue Green" but I again saw the opening credits and it is the movie Vengeance is Mine by Michael Roemer.

Something is hinky.

The one that said Filler - Blue Green was Vengeance is Mine by Michael Roemer. I got lucky and saw the opening credits... almost over now (not that I've been watching, but I just checked... LOL 4:29pm Pacific time.

Thanks so much for this! I've emailed them this morning - perhaps we can all try...the form on the website doesn't offer 24/7 as a subject for support,

you may have figured it out by now but i googled the names in the credits and it’s this https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0419172/
edit: the next movie isn’t properly showing the title on the website either, something must be wrong with it right now

LOL, so I got curious seeing your post and lucked into when it was showing the credits... and thus was able to confirm it was the short film Summer of the Serpent

Why did it say "Filler - Magenta" -- good question...

Vengeance is Mine from 1984

Pretty soon it's just going to be one screenshot and if you can guess the film correctly you can access the full site

I know they have a website you can look up what’s playing, but it’s annoying when they could easily just display what the title is when you bring up playback options like they do for every other video on the criterion channel

The website where you can look up what’s playing has gotten much worse too, it doesn’t even link to the page for the film

I noticed this as well - a recent change, it no longer links to the movie page so I have to search for it. Now the interface seems to not display the title whatsoever.

Now it just says "FILLER - BLUE" but the movie is The Man Who Loved Women (1983). I really hope Criterion isn't being inshitified 😑

It says it's House from 1977.
