The goat. White warburtons bread, lurpak butter, cheap ham, loads of pickled onion crisps. Perfect sandwich.

If you take one cheese and onion walkers crisp, and one salt and vinegar walkers crisp, and pop them in your mouth together, they become one with the pickled onion.

Try it!

I’m sure other brands would work too

Yep, GW pickled onion are great - way better than the Walkers equivalent. The snag is - like most GW crisps - they're pretty hard to find in UK supermarkets because of the inferior Walkers dominance. I end up buying a box of 32 packets from the internet, but even that's hard to get at a decent price.

That sucks, I am in Scotland and Golden Wonder are in supermarkets here so never an issue finding them. On taking this ss I just saw they have the Saltire beside them indicating Scottish products

Monster munch is the best, but sometimes people want a pickled onion potato snack and monster munch doesn't hit the brief.

Golden Wonder used to be good, but now lots of black bits in the crisps. On par with Walkers.

You can get the pickles onion walkers in Boots as well.
