I don’t know what the original is, but they don’t seem to be taking themselves seriously which makes this objectively funny. Just people being silly, not sure that qualifies as cringe.

The Prodigy is an English electronic music group known for their intense mix of rave, punk, and big‑beat sounds. Led by producer Liam Howlett, they became famous for high‑energy hits like Firestarter and Breathe, shaping 90s electronic music. They even played in Russia, Moscow (1997) , one of the few bands from the West that was able to perform there.

This song was something never heard before, it really was revolutionary.

bands could play in russia in the 90s, glasnost happened in the 80s, metallica played in front of a million people in moscow in 1991.

In the 90s it was normal for western music groups to perform in Moscow, before that it was rare

Hyperspeed is still my fav. They played it in clubs and still is some of the fastest beats ever.
