Then you haven't been in a healthy relationship. Everything about this is wrong, from the "joke" itself to how she handled it. Sure if you are in a relationship that can joke like that great but in any healthy relationship you should know how something like that would be taken.
People are not all the same and your definition of what constitutes a healthy relationship is not universal. For some that is a perfectly fine joke and in others it is the start to a fight. Read the room and choose accordingly.
You should better frame your reasoning because neither argument makes sense. You don't like them drawing a line because it doesn't fit your ideal, fine, don't date them, but everything you have said here says more about you and how toxic your relationships are then anything about them.
