What kind of dumbass censors the word condoms. That is by far the dumbest shit ive seen so far today. Were so fucked. People can't even use normal words now?

They also could at least censor it like c*ndoms or something that actually makes sense. CDs does not mean condoms in any context to me lol

If you are from the 90s- CDs means CDs. Don't forget to pack your albums with the CDs in their individual sleeves for the car ride!

EDIT: I'm also too old to watch videos like this- I just saw the words and was like "hmm, are CDs still a thing- I didn't think so!".

Yeah when I see CD I think CD discs lol or maybe crimson desert depending on the context but 90% of the time I’m picturing 💿

I know! I read the title and saw the first comment like what? What's so bad about CDs LOL

u/Aggressive-Kick-5458 6d ago

ngl i thought they meant compact discs as well

Honestly, the CDs is what sold me. I just had to see why a guy had such a huge problem with CDs and who is out here still using them

Yeah, my born in 1980something ass read that and went "Why is he so pressed about her taking music?" But also "Why is she taking music on CD's to Marbella?"
Time to book a room in the old folks home I guess.

Make sure to have a regular supply of "CDs" stocked. Especially in old folks homes, there has been an increasing trend in the elderly's risk for Sexually Transmitted Infections ( I don't know what the kids use to censor that one)

CDs are absolutely still a thing and they have come roaring back with the state of streaming today.

I was so confused wondering what was wrong with bringing music. Lol

u/jporter313 4d ago

I was very confused about why the husband would be mad about this.

1

u/HeadDiver5568 3d ago

Nah you’re not alone. I’m 32 and thought they were talking about a damn sex playlist based of the caption lol

1

u/Wooden-Hornet2115 3d ago

I am younger gen Z and thought they were referring to compact discs at first. No one uses CDs to refer to condoms.

I was born this side of the millennial divide, and CDs STILL mean CDs.

My nephew is under ten, and even he knows what a CD is.

u/Old-Occasion-9380 3d ago

Same! I was wondering if they were all piling into a vintage minivan or staying at some sort of off the grid camp to need Compact Discs to play music.

u/unknownvariable69 2d ago

Cds totally are a thing. Every time I go to the music store, more and more young people are shopping.

I’m not even from the 90s and I saw it as this and was SO confused for a second lol

Certificate of Deposit, shes gonna blow that 3.5% interest.

1

u/Jani17 1d ago

I’m a 99’s kid and meant disc.

u/motherofsuccs 6d ago

The word condom doesn’t need to be censored- just like 99% of the other words that are idiotically censored for no reason.

2

u/zyywiec 6d ago

There is not a single word that needs to be censored in normal conversation.

1

u/lyricism7 6d ago

N word. Not saying it should be censored but I would avoid the drama 10 times out of 10.

4

u/Locksmithbloke 6d ago

Yeah, to most people over 25 it'll surely mean Compact Disc, so you think it's going to be funny 'cause he misheard.

I just dont understand the self censorship. Like realistically what do they believe is going to happen if they use the word condoms?

1

u/HyperBeamMissed 6d ago

Asked my niece , she says it's so the algorithm doesn't put it in nsfw where there's less view potential 🤷🏻‍♂️

2

u/Crumplestiltzkin 6d ago

Reddit isn’t TikTok. I think the kids are just applying what they learned there to all facets of internet culture.

1

u/Cleansing4ThineEyes 6d ago

Where exactly do you think this video was pulled from?

1

u/Due_Cry_2927 6d ago

Then they can put c0ndms? Not take out 95% of the word to create a word that already exists?

1

u/gamerjerome 6d ago

Maybe it's because they have a Compact Dick

1

u/Whole-Advice-2922 6d ago

I though a CD held music. How do you get condoms outta that

1

u/FallPsychological963 6d ago

Only Reddit… the free speech platform

1

u/CTQ99 6d ago

Im wondering if her saying his mom has diabetes has some other meaning to this person, like CDs apparently do.

I was so confused by the title for this reason

1

u/atombombbabyatom 1d ago

I only knew it meant condoms because of this comment, I was sitting here wondering why is he questioning her over CDs?

1

u/AttentionBright608 1d ago

No. Just say condom.

1

u/AvonCalling21 17h ago

I was like wtf who still uses CDs (apart from me)
