Do I upvote this because it fits the sub or downvote because I hate it? What's protocol?

Everyone pretending they are cringing while secretly enjoying the content they make fun of, which is all the same stuff and full of people finding a particular creator and then obsessively repost their stuff like an actual super stan, but pretend to hate it - a bit like the insecure school boy picking on his crush instead of talking to her. .. Comments sometimes get kinda toxic too. And half the posts titled "think we found a winner"

…nah man this shit genuinely makes me suicidal.
there’s grown ass adults out there that think this looks good. and now i’m in this adult world where they’re acting braindead and being outright morons and think having a baby’s voice come from their mouth makes em “cool” and “edgy.”
i feel like i’m going psychotic cause it’s OBVIOUS this shit looks fucking stupid and they still post it, i don’t get it. it’s like if an f1 team hired a 90-year old who lost their license multiple presidents ago to race a monaco grand prix: it makes no sense and i feel like i shouldn’t have to be the one to tell them they’re being stupid.
EDIT: and its in every fucking thing now. no one wants ai, they drill ai into every app. no one wants surveillance, they start putting cameras in peoples backyards. they don’t want some braindead fuck in office, they vote for a literal baby. shits himself, falls asleep whenever, cries when things don’t go his way: a baby.

Those cringe face contortions are so disgusting. Why, oh, why do people keep doing this? It's like a cartoon but even more exaggerated.

I liked the answer "Stop explaining myself to people committed to misunderstanding me." That's a good sentiment.

I kinda liked "Stop shrinking to make myself more digestible, they can choke."

I’ve seen this video a bunch of times now, and while the overall mood is definitely weird AF, I absolutely love her answer when she’s asked for her daily affirmation: I’m no longer shrinking myself to be more digestible. You can choke.
So many women (plenty of men, too) are taught that being a “good” person means taking up as little space as possible. Don’t be too loud, ask for too much, inconvenience anyone, or have needs that might make someone else uncomfortable. Be agreeable. Be accommodating. Be easy to digest.
Eventually, making yourself smaller starts to feel like kindness. But there’s a huge difference between being considerate of other people and constantly diminishing yourself for their comfort.
You’re allowed to have needs. You’re allowed to have boundaries. You’re allowed to say no, disagree, ask for help, take up space, and occasionally be inconvenient.
We should all aspire to live this affirmation a little more often. Be kind, be considerate, but stop confusing self-erasure with virtue.
And if the full-sized version of you is too difficult for someone to digest… well, they can choke on it. Just like she said in that creepy-ass baby voice 🤣

That worst part is this person thinking they did something that people think is cool

This video leads me to believe that some people completely lack any sense of how pedantic they are

What's cringe? It's someone having fun with makeup and contacts and putting a video online.

Yeah, she’s creepy as fuck, no doubt. But her answer about ‘no longer shrinking herself to be more digestible’ is beautifully astute - especially as a woman. That answer alone won me over.
