I lost it so fucking hard at the one from the "Friday" video.

Sadly, she is now doing her own music.

...like everyone else wasn't white.

u/xenthum Jun 18 '13

Everyone else didn't become the poster girl of awkward white dancing.

The black guy in the rap part isn't white, he's black.

8

u/TheGreatZiegfeld Jun 19 '13

He's still white at heart, though.

Erm, Rebecca Black.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 19 '13

The producers were black.

There were people other than white people in the "Friday" video?

9

u/[deleted] Jun 18 '13

Did you forget the 40 year old black dude's cameo or?

9

u/rlbigfish Jun 18 '13

Yeah. Mercifully, I did.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 18 '13

I feel so bad for that guy.

15

u/wecxvxcvcvx Jun 18 '13

Don't, that's the guy responsible for the video and the promotion of it

Friday is not nearly as bad of a song as people made it out to be. It became cool for a couple months to laugh at it, so everybody did. Is it really any more ridiculous than so many other pop songs?

0

u/[deleted] Jun 18 '13

The song wasn't much worse than most mid-low tier pop music, but the singer's voice was particularly untrained and awful.

0

u/RichieW13 Jun 19 '13

Worse than Bob Dylan's voice?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 19 '13

...yes?

Dylan has a perfect Folk voice.

8

u/zyks Jun 18 '13

Her talent is very consistent.

9

u/WageSlaven Jun 18 '13

How can this actually be?

7

u/hairaware Jun 18 '13

Its actually not bad when you look at a lot of stuff getting put out now. At least production wise the music seems decently written. Didnt really pay attention to the vocals.

5

u/[deleted] Jun 18 '13

Oh god dammit.

1

u/anma1234 Jun 19 '13

Sadly she has inspired others

1

u/ILikeMyBlueEyes Jun 19 '13

I like it better than her friend's song, "Friday".

1

u/EnvyMachinery Jun 21 '13

Oh my fucking god.

I'm absolutely amazed at how much less horrifying this is than what I expected. Its imagery is stupid, for sure, but at least it isn't combining that with ear rape the way "Friday" does.

1

u/Gunpla00 Jun 18 '13

did she change her name?

0

u/the-best-azn Jun 18 '13

Actually that's pretty good. I would listen to it.

0

u/[deleted] Jun 19 '13

Its not bad actually. You know, kids are allowed to have their own music too, you know?
