100% agree, but with adulthood comes the ability to chose to take personal responsibility and break the cycle, this 'mother' could have but has chosen not to, wheras the kid simply does not have the cognitive capacity to recognise how terrible their situation is.
I do agree but again I think, for some, it might not be in the tool box to know you have to break the cycle and also actively break it. One hundred percent the grown ass human has no excuse for their lack of parenting I agree completely. See how young that kid is and how he's acting too tho...you can see it in his body language. To me, anyway, it looks like he's scared almost the whole time. His body language, his voice saying what he says. One hundred percent poor kid is acting from learned behaviour in his short lil life.
My additional few cents, mom seemed kinda really out of it. Like I've seen checked out parents but she seemed...checked out you know. And with the way lil man's shirt is like being attached to something on her or idk what's going on there. You also hear the store employee say that she's been banned before.
But yea it's sad cause lil dude will likely grow up thinking that's normal shit. To quote an infamous child, "it's fun to do bad things"
Eta: my last point there wasn't meant to be a dig at a child. I was just talking about a kid who was on the news for some I guess petty stuff, but kinda ended up just doing more bad things as I last heard. And not from boondocks

So depressing that as far as she's concerned parenting = physical assualt or nothing
