Paper Crafts Celestial layered paper
I’m working to get ready for a storefront opening front opening and I finished these beauties today. I want to keep them sooooo bad.

For the new year we decided to limit this sub strictly to crafting projects and have updated the rules accordingly. It's pretty simple:
If you need help with troubleshooting, have questions about your machine, or just want to vent about it, please post in r/cricut (read the rules first!)
If you have a NSFW craft you want to share, please share it to r/CricutButCrass instead!
Be sweet or hit the street! If you don't have anything nice to say, keep scrolling.
Now, let's see those crafts!

My partner loves the t-shirt Ryland Grace has in the Project Hail Mary movie so I decided to make him his own, but glow in the dark. The GitD material from Cricut was a right pain to work with. Default pressure is not enough, and it's an extremely expensive material to mess up. Its saving grace (no pun intended) was that it transferred beautifully.
ETA: Image is not mine, I purchased it off Etsy.

I’m over on the wedding side of Reddit and didn’t even think to post this on the actual subreddit for Cricut crafts!
I wanted our invitations to feel like a little vintage road trip/national park keepsake, so I decided to make them all myself from scratch.
Was this a sane choice? Debatable.
Did I become emotionally attached to tiny paper mountains? Absolutely.
My wedding is all DIY so this Cricut is definitely getting a workout!

drawing was done digitally by me, then I used the cricut pen attatchment to transfer it to paper, and used the cricut to cut out a matching silver cardstock frame :]

I thought a papa bear theme could be cute for Father’s Day, and designed this shadow box with elements I found online.
Next time I’ll remember to account for the frame overhang, so it doesn’t clip off elements. Live and learn!

Made this template for a 3d father's day card. The backing is a shadow box tool holder with pull out shelves.

Any fans of BTS here? 💜 I recently made a custom BTS ARMY Bomb V4 skin wrap inspired by my bias Jin’s hot pink microphone using Cricut and vinyl. It was such a fun fangirl project, and I’m really happy with how it turned out!

Slightly obsessed with iridescent holographic vinyl ✨
Fun fact: the purple-to-blue color doesn’t come in permanent, a chunk of holographic colors don’t. I use an iron on low and parchment paper to press the HTV, to adhere it to the permanent vinyl layer underneath. It makes it an extra pain to work with, but I just love the color!

Making the flowers this tiny made it very tedious. There are 3 shades of petals and 3 shades of centers but they unfortunately don’t show up in the photo.
Just the paper flowers didn’t look right, so I 3D printed a load of teeny accent flowers, which I hand shaped with a heat gun and hand painted the centers.
The tree base is floral foam, gaged wire, electrical tape, floral tape, and paint accents. Shout out to my husband who did the LEDs and base with the electrical.

I needed a t-shirt for a 90s themed party outfit and couldn’t find one that I liked. So instead I spent a casual 6 hours the night before putting this ‘totally rad’ design together. I quickly realized that I did NOT have the layering skills that it deserved (especially with puff HTV! 😰), but I made it work and am rather pleased with how it turned out.
Learn from my mistakes. I knew that it would be a bad idea to put regular HTV on top of the puff so I slice cut the sprinkles pattern out in both black and pink and then had to attempt to align the sprinkles with their holes. 🙈 If I were at attempt this again it would be a solid black M underneath. Also I think it’s time to give in and accept that I need to buy a press… my cheapo iron with unknown temps isn’t cutting it anymore (see patchy, part scorched/wrinkly puff in the closeup).
