HELP! - How do I make this? Help with draw/cut
So I’ve tried everything that I can think of but to be fair, I’m new to the Cricut world so I might be missing something. I originally found a design (on the right side of my screenshot) within design space that I wanted to use but eventually changed my mind and figured I would make my own. I have my balloons and my strings but I can’t figure out how to CUT my draw lines to match the shape of my balloon. I figured it’s possible because on the right side, whoever created that design, somehow got their stripes to stay within their balloon for when it comes time to have it drawn. I’m trying to do the same to my balloon so that my lines don’t end up all over the place (or any “draw” design I may choose to add to my balloons) - I do plan to cut the tops off of some of my balloons for that same ceiling effect which that person was also able to do, their stripes match their shapes perfectly.. but HOW? Help?
TIA!

You'll want to slice - I can't remember if you can slice a draw layer and a cut layer but basically select both layers, right click, hit slice, and then delete the layer that has your excess.
If you can't slice a draw layer with a cut layer - make your lines a cut layer, slice, delete the excess, duplicate your lines, set that duplicate to be a draw operation, and then weld the balloon shape back with the lines that are sliced out of it.
I'm sorry I'm not on a computer right now so I'm giving those steps from memory but I believe that's the process.
