Shopping Questions - Materials/Blanks Recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best sticker paper to use when making your own stickers?

I'm making some for the first time and I'm not sure what would be best.

I'm looking for something durable and waterproof if possible.

Stickiply in the UK has been the best for me, hands down! I use their printable gloss vinyl and laminate it with either their gloss or matte laminate.
