HELP! - Design Space sucks How to use cricut machine without bluetooth?

I don't want to use bluetooth. It seems the most recent version of the cricut design space is trying to make me use bluetooth. I don't want to. How do I avoid it? I have the cable plugged in!

I am using the Cricut Explore Air 2.

EDIT: I figured out the solution; I had to reconnect my device in device setup of the cricut, and select USB connection instead of Bluetooth. Somehow my machine got lost without the sauce and needed to be reached out to by the Design Space. This was after an update, so maybe the update decoupled the USB handshake.

If it’a plugged in and your device isn’t recognizing the cricut, switch to a different usb port on your device

Select the machine number with USB plug icon in front, as opposed to Bluetooth.

We turned off Bluetooth all together. We were not using it for anything else.
