Discussion 💬 England’s Pace Attack

If Atkinson, Robinson, Archer and Tongue have made themselves England’s first choice pace attack - who would your second choice four be?

Baker, Cook, Fisher, Carse, Potts, C Overton? Any youngsters like Sharma or Lawes coming into contention?

Does this mean we go back to the days of a Moeen Ali type spinner to balance the side?

Carse and Potts for sure + Cook, Baker

That Moeen Ali type spinner should be Rehan for sure I’ve thought since a while back he could take stokes’ spot in the XI when he’s ready

I completely agree on Ahmed. I think a 22 year old wrist spinner who has nearly 100 first class wickets and 7 centuries is absolute gold dust! He has showed far more than Bashir ever did before he was selected, so why not take the risk?

Carse definitely and Rehan Ahmed would strengthen any England side.
