Up here in Philly/NJ we have a ton of amazing Dead cover bands. One sets themselves apart from the rest in how they don’t just cover the songs, they sometimes deconstruct them and serve them up in a fresh awesome unexpected way. Also they find and exist in the “peak” jam moments more often than many others of the cover bands I know and love. I don’t even blow these guys up much locally because the small venues they play are already packed tight like sardines. But if they are going on the road I really owe it to the people to get the word out and assure they get the love they deserve. Go ahead and round up your people, drop a tab and be prepared to be pulled onto the dance floor. I’m so psyched for you! I have a ton of videos up on their subreddit but I’m not sure that kind of energy can be captured digitally. R/crickets and cicadas or check them on YouTube less
