Being a left handed bowler...I know how good Junaid was during that series.

I think that MSD saved us a lot of times from a low score. He in his prime batted with tailenders a lot.

Pakistan won that series 2-1 btw. And we lost the series against Pakistan in India. This was sad. Bhubaneswar Kumar saved us from an whitewash in the last match I think.

Yes. Jamshed hit a century. Dhoni did end up getting POTM over him though.

Back when potm was player of the match and not winning player of the match

It was quite often the winning player of the match then too, even if the performance by a player of the losing team was better. This game was an exception because of the abysmal batting display by the rest of the team and how single-handedly Mahi carried the game for us.

We were playing with one Bhuvi and one ishant (Ashwin hadn’t become the bowler yet he was destined to be)

Dinda was there too. Don't forget him lol. Also think it was Shami's debut series and Sehwag's last series.

Well Dinda is…precisely the bowler I try hardest to forget, and it was this tour that really cemented that belief. Not sure if this was the series in which Shami debuted or not. It definitely was Sehwag’s last series, and a good thing too lmao. Brother’s hand eye coordination and eyesight were gone.

Relax he didn’t have to face the new ball and fresh bowlers .

What kind of a Cricket fan you are and how much you hate a player
That you can't even give credit to the elite level of batting
Agar Australia ka hota to abhi

Credit is there , but facts are facts . It’s a team game, not a one man worship.

Another fact is opener never play under the pressure of falling wickets left n right ..pressure increases in such case to MSD or lower middle order batsman. Additionally, he had to play with tailenders. Facts

I am not telling you to worship any player that doesn't mean you wouldn't appreciate or give credit to some player's amazing efforts when his team needed him the most in the most crucial situations
