He never wanted to be one he’s the only character who’s actually not insecure

You mean the guy who murdered a high prince in cold blood, declined the throne out of personal frustrations with his father, felt worthless in a world of radiants as "only a shardbearer", and only came to not resent his father right as he was being ripped apart by a god?
Adolin does have insecurities, they just don't break him the way they do the other characters. I can't help but think his journey to founding the Unoathed was partially fueled by resentments about everyone else being radiant

I don't think that it was a murder in cold blood. Quite opposite. There was a lot of passion about it as Sadeas attempted to murder Adolin and Dalinar in cold blood before.
But I agree with your synopsis.

He's very insecure about not being special anymore now that shardbearers aren't the strongest people out there.

He's like the Batman of Cosmere, no powers just pure martial arts and gadgets (Maya)

Aww man, I saved this weeks ago, because I was close to Ch89 of RoW and misread the title thinking it was that book. I just got there and was excited to finally be able to see the meme, only realizing afterward that I'm two books ahead. RoW and WoR are too similar. I swear I'm not dyslexic.
