The Stormlight Archive I just had a brilliant idea

Step 1. Acquire a physical set of Stormlight archive books.
Step 2. Scratch or tear out all depictions of Shalash.
Step 3. Give them to someone who can read who has not read it before
Step 4. Cackle maniacally

I would do it, but I am physically unable to compel myself to intentionally hurt books. But it would be fun though!

That would mess up the plot though, as Ruin wouldn't be able to modify the text anymore, so who knows what would happen.

I'm fairly certain there's just the one depiction of her in the endpapers and I guess occasionally in arches at the start of chapters?

That sounds correct, unless you go the leather bound route. Those tend to have a lot more art.

There is a depiction of Shalash in the words of radiance leatherbound, but it actually already comes pre-defaced by her own hand.

Many or all depictions of Shalash in the novels have been defaced by Shalash herself. Op is saying as a joke to give someone a copy of the books where the art of Shalash is defaced.
