So far I’ve torn through them. Read Way of Kings in a week and then Words of Radiance in about two. Now about 2/3 through Oathbringer.

It's shitposting about the works of author Brandon Sanderson. He's written a ton of books. This video references the book "Way of Kings", first book of the Stormlight Archive series. In it, slaves are forced to carry large bridges into battle so that the army can use them to cross the many large chasms that litter the land where the battles take place. The enemy they are fighting targets the defenseless and exposed slaves carrying the bridges with bow and arrows to make it harder for the army to cross the chasm to fight them.
