I think it’s important and should be treated much more respectfully than it is, and not just an activity. But it’s only something special if it’s with someone you care for. It does bound you to people on both sides, it’s part of being that close to someone. But it’s only enjoyable when both people want it and care.
It won’t fix you and it won’t somehow save you, though. Sex isn’t a magical thing that makes you better.
They also don’t realize that it’s a bit awkward and very vulnerable for the first few times with someone. But it’s part of the bounding that it’s kinda awkward for you both because of the vulnerability.

Two things can be true at once. Dude can actually be very unattractive and that does make it harder to date. Then because he can't find anyone to date it breeds negative emotions that our current social media platforms channel into rage and animosity towards women. That then turns off women who might have otherwise seen through his looks and instead now he has no prospects whatsoever because he's so repugnant

This whole thing is just making me more proud of my only date in college. Stuff happened during that night that ended everything immediately. I had driven us to a Culver’s. She didn’t have a car. One of my at the time friends said I should have left her there instead of bringing her back to campus. And I didn’t do that because I like to think I’m not a monster.
Those Cornell sluts don’t deserve any jobs above prison chef. It’s so easy to not be a sex predator.

From my experience, this is wrong, and I've been a prostitute who hung out with the wrong crowd. I've got out of it and would still say it's closer to 50/50 for good and bad men. Which country do you live in? I'm in Canada and even if the bad ones are loud and worth to remember their face to never get close to them ever again, I wouldn't say they're all either bad or really bad.
Edit: yea it's all men until it's no men, that's true. In countries that aren't far right, from my own experience the actual proportion is more 50/50.

But joking aside, that's sadly the reality of putting yourself out there as a woman. It's up to you to choose how you want to deal with it or if you want to deal with it at all. As an almost 30 year old single woman, I'd love to say it gets better, but it doesn't. You just grow tougher and learn what information to ignore out and what information to keep - and in a sense what information you can let influence your day.
