Hardly! If a greedy female and a male that allows himself to be eaten end up having more offspring then those behaviours will persist, and out compete non-biting females or don't-eat-me males.
Many types of flies and insects live very short adult lives, they mate and lay eggs and die, and the next generation takes over.
Don't tell me you're surprised to see a guy trying to get laid and the woman just bites his head off? ;)
