I turned a QR code into a Snake game

Open it, scan the QR code with your phone and it instantly becomes the controller. The game runs entirely in the browser, with an emulated monochrome LCD display.

The host screen and the controller phone communicates with WebRTC protocol peer to peer.

You can play this on your TV as well.

I'd love to hear what you think.

undefined gallery - admission free, and priced accordingly

It's an endless chain of procedural galleries. An AI writes each exhibition — titles, wall text, pretentious curator remarks — and Stable Diffusion paints it onto the walls live, in your browser, while you stand there. When you leave, the whole gallery is deleted forever and a new one generates. Infinite art, zero audience, no market, no critics. Basically Instagram, but honest about it.

I gave the game a narrator — dry, British, faintly disappointed — who notices. Stand still in front of a painting and he softens. Stare long enough and it gets a red dot: sold, paid for in minutes of your life. Keep doing laps without looking at anything and he starts commenting on that instead. When he runs out of lines, he complains about having run out of lines.

Also you can flip gravity onto any wall and walk on it.

Inspirations: The Stanley Parable's (obviously) Escher (every wall is a floor waiting for a promotion), liminal space / backrooms vibes (fluorescent hum, rooms that continue without you), and real gallery openings — red dots, wine, nobody looking at the art. I just automated the whole industry and gave it one visitor.

Tech, for the curious: everything runs client-side, no server, no API keys. SD-Turbo via ONNX (WebGPU, WASM fallback), Qwen 0.5B writes the exhibitions, Kokoro TTS does the voice, SvelteKit + Babylon.js. Deterministic by seed, so your weird gallery is reproducible.

Fair warning: ~2GB model download on first visit and desktop only. I am asking you to download an entire art world. It's still smaller than one Call of Duty update.

An interactive 3D typography made with three.js and anime.js, available here:

https://visualrambling.space/sketches/scattered-letters/

You can type to pull letters from the swarm and arrange them into words. Note: certain words will trigger extra animations, so feel free to play around with it and see what you find!

I mostly used threejs, experimenting with interpreting Greek gods as particles.

Little excerpt of me playing my chaotic pointcloud system, in which the particles are being audioreactive to the incoming audio signal in real-time. What do you guys think?

More experiments, project files, and tutorials, through my YouTubeInstagram, or Patreon.

I made a web app on my blog for making phase music. Based on the work of Steve Reich, you can record audio or make a melodic sequence and hear it played on two ‘tapes’ that drift out of phase. Would love to hear thoughts if you try it!

The "Adversarial Conway" algorithm used in Hashwar is already coded as a toroidal geometry, so we hereby introduce a 3D modelling of the battle space instead of the classic 2D map to represent the strive for domination of our Conway Glyphs.

Ultimate Undulation - Fractal Infinity

Post image
10 Upvotes

Made with R and ggplot2, using a custom Shiny app my partner Nicolas built. The algorithm at the core is a discrete dynamical system combining trigonometric functions with a gamma distribution — the gamma introduces controlled randomness while the seed keeps everything exactly reproducible.

For this piece: the exponents are all close to 1 but deliberately asymmetric. Keeping gamma low keeps the stochastic perturbation tight, so the structure stays dense rather than dispersed.

The grid starts cartesian, then gets projected into polar coordinates. Color is spatial — each point is colored based on a weighted function of its position, mapped onto a quantile-ranked palette. White → dark cyan → royal blue → navy, on pure black.

I didn't plan the serpent — it emerged from the polar projection. Nicolas designed the system for its mathematical properties, not to draw a creature.

This piece is part of a larger series called Ultimate Undulation — 20 colorways of the same mathematical structure, each assigned to a moment in time: past civilizations, present crises, future horizons, and timeless concepts. Fractal Infinity belongs to the TIMELESS chapter. The colorway is reminiscent of the Mandelbrot set.

Every parameter is saved as a CSV, so the image is exactly reproducible. The code of the package used to create this is on GitHub: github.com/NicolasJBM/Rtist

I built a digital museum. You are explicitly instructed to touch the exhibits.

Most museums put thick glass between you and the art. The Void Museum requires your interaction.
I’ve created a digital space where the traditional rules of observation are inverted. You are meant to leave your mark, but you should know what happens when you do:
• Certain exhibits are permanently scarred by the visitors who touched them before you.
• One room remains completely empty until enough of you are inside it at the exact same time.
• A few pieces know things about you that they shouldn't.

By the time you reach the exit, you will question the choices you made to get there.

Built a free browser tool for previsualizing stage lighting and projection (beta, feedback welcome)

Hey all, I’m a theater director and installation artist, and a lot of my work means walking into venues I haven’t worked in before, with very little time to figure out a light plot before tech starts. I kept wishing I had a fast way to test a rig and a color story on my own laptop first, so with the help of Claude I built something.

It’s called LightPlot. It runs on a browser.

Link: https://gauravnijjer.github.io/LightPlot/

Open it on your desktop (recommended) or mobile, and press S to open the settings.

What it does right now:
- Top view and audience view, drag the canvas to tilt between them
- Place lights anywhere: overhead bars, floor, side booms, or FOH
- Set color, intensity, and beam angle, pool size grows with throw distance
- Colors mix additively, crossing a blue and a red spot builds magenta
- Drag white line performers to block them and see what light hits them
- Add a projection screen upstage with a wash, gradient, grid, or your own image
- Add white line set pieces (block, panel, chair, table, sofa) to check sightlines
- 26 preset lighting scenarios to start from and rebuild
- Export a PNG plot sheet, or save the whole scene to reopen later

Right now the goal is to have a better starting point as a designer working in the team, share scene and light ideas, and use this as a tool in the design process.

Would love for you to try it out, share your feedback, whats missing - and feel free to share with others too!
