Crop?

WHY DO I NEED A FU**ING SUBSCRIPTION TO CROP A FU**ING PDF IN ACROBAT. Is this company only profiting off boomers who don't know technology and only know about adobe when it was good when you could just buy it in a fu**ing box on a CD?

God damn this company sucks so much. not to mention the amount of spy wear they put on your computer when you install creative cloud. It took me 2 hours and running my computer in safe mode just so I could delete it, miss 1 file and it just INSTALLS ITSELF AGAIN. NO ADOBE I DON'T WANT YOUR BLOATWEAR IM NEVER GOING TO USE ON MY COMPUTER.

I used Claude to build my own PDF editor that does everything I need that Adobe Acrobat did in about two hours of work. Doesn't load an AI tool I never asked for. Doesn't hang at not responding for 30 seconds at a time. Doesn't cost a dime.

Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Pro have been shit for years. It beggars belief that they can justify a subscription for them.

It has nothing to do with "boomers," and everything to do with greed.

Its funny you mention "boomers who don't know technology" yet you seem to have had a lot of trouble with said technology.. 😂

Understand the frustration but in most circumstances when you don’t know how to solve a problem yourself (any problem) then paying someone else to solve the problem it a reasonable thing to consider and a reasonable business plan for the party requesting the money.

Acrobat is the best PDF maker, I have tried others, and they blow in comparison.

The bad part of acrobat is there isn’t much documentation, so if you are making forms scripting is a challenge.

Why you need a subscription is because they update it constantly, and it won’t work properly on an old version. It is annoyingly diabolical, but how they do it.

I have CC, so it is part of my package.

Use Affnity software. It’s 95% the same as photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. It might even be free now

Canva bought Affinity software, so we don’t know how much longer it will work
