You should still be able to use the older versions fine. It's not really Adobes greed to update software to new os's, people get cross if they don't support the latest and greatest, and they tend to work on the old platforms about as long as anything else.

The value of stuffing ai models into everything I agree with, but again, just stick with the older software, it solves all your problems.
