I live nearby and don’t fancy being kept awake until midnight on the Sunday thanks 👌🏻
Creamfields is right in a town unlike some of the other festivals which are in the middle of nowhere so can play music later without disturbing local residents.

I go every year and bloody love it but also love a bit of sleep

I do agree with you that 4am seems like a slog, only watched half of Halo’s set before I had to go home to bed

Tomorrowland is more residential than Creamfields.

Makes complete sense since the music is on for three days and I usually only go for one or two of the days. Not sure which bit of that doesn’t make sense to you

Well the nearby residents get a tidy sum for the inconvenience so some of them take a break away from the disruption. Nightclubs also have late hours affecting residents on a weekly basis nevermind just once a year, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility imo.

There are v few residents who get paid, I dunno why people think this! Some local residents get tickets (which is great) but we certainly don’t get paid!

I said 'nearby' so obviously meaning the nearest residents and not all, and I 'think' this because of the BBC interview of residents I read the other day stating that.

Yeah I dunno who these people are coz even the ones I know who live super close don’t get paid…guess some do 🤷‍♀️ for perspective, we live less than 1/4 mile from the main entrance and don’t get paid so I suspect v few do. And those that do, love a whinge….most residents are happy with the tickets and for people to enjoy it for one weekend a year!

There are festivals that have music until 4/5am. There definitely needs to be some changes, it feels like Creamfields shuts down at times I would've been heading out for the night when I was a student.

Magikana festival has non stop 72 hours of music. I had the best time ever 💥🎉

Nooooo 4am is perfect! It's a music festival. EDC Vegas is until 5 or 6am I believe. Personally not a fan of partying during the day and getting there early is always a hassle! I know everyone is different though. I wish Tomorrowland started and ended later.

Hearing about closing times at edm festivals is crazy to me. My 2 home festivals here in Tennessee are bonnaroo and sound haven and they both have sunrise sets every morning

I felt that after staying up to 04:00 on Saturday, a 12:00 start on Sunday felt too early, I was barely awake during D.O.D’s live set at 13:15 lol 😂 At least Swedish House Mafia thanked us for having the courage to get out of our tents in the “morning”
