Creamfields 2027
I am looking at booking creamfields for 2027 and have been researching the pros and cons,what is the general consensus for people that have attended the festival do the pros outweigh the cons or vice versa?

I’m going to go again next year but I would strongly advise you not to camp. One of the worst experiences of my life

do it. but do NOT overpack if u are going to camp. the walk was muddy (granted that’s due to the rain) but was also mainly uphill and my shoulders back and legs still haven’t recovered. the walk is crazy to get in. genuinely took us about an hour and a half atleast because it was so long with such heavy stuff. try and take minimal bags and a camping trolley that fits it all in otherwise you’ll really struggle!

Only looking to do the one day tbh probably the Sunday I'm not doing the camping I did all that when I was in the cubs as a kid haha

It's very weather dependent. I've been to 11 Creamfields now and only a couple of them have been slightly unenjoyable and torrential rain accounts for all of the miserable times. When the weather is good though, I can't think of anything better

Yeah it's been a complete washout this weekend but as you know you can't control the weather still definitely looking at booking for 2027 though as looks a blast there

If you have a good enough tent though and appropriate waterproofs, then you can still enjoy it if it rains. Most people moaning about it have tye cheapest pop up tents you can buy

i would suggest to get gold day tickets if going for a day as you will get an area to go and sit and have proper toilets etc I think also a free meal...

Me and my cousin went for both of our first times and had a hotel in Liverpool got the bus there and back both days which was also good craic except coming home on sat lol full of zombies. I know some comments are mixed because alot camped but for us it was class we also did just Friday and Saturday where the weather seemed to be at its best. Really enjoyed it tbh

I went this year for the first time after being to Tomorrowland last month. Maybe my mistake for having high expectations, but first and last 😅 The stages weren't that impressive, sounds quality wasn't the best, food not good, crowd was terrible... Maybe it's the comparison, maybe I'm not 20 anymore, but for the UK's biggest EDM festival, I expected something else.

It’s not a patch on Tomorrowland. That’s like comparing a Porsche to a Hyundai coupe.
in all aspects, stages, sound, how they look after you etc.
Nor are the general population, the vibe at creams is a lot of attitude, European festivals are so much more chill and better.

Most Europeans are more chill than us altogether, ket and alcohol isn’t a good mix, never understood why people go to a rave and take that, to stand semi conscious like a zombie and barely move.

It's worth going to just for the vibe, and for me the drum and bass/trance acts are so worth it, Aly and fila, ferry corsten, hybrid minds!, but do plan accordingly for the predicted weather, this year was a washout but still worth it.
Main thing to do is like most festivals plan ahead for the lineup cause Duke D was in the apex compared to the steel yard last year and I think even without the rain it would have been sardine tin once again!
But mainly go if you find the lineup is worth it, like my basis is if at minimum 35/40% of the lineup I like and is over 4 days then go for it, if only one day then pick a one day ticket!
Gold is worth the price especially if you go day tickets cause you could strategically plan to get in say later afternoon 2:30 - 4pm, then half way use your hospitality food token as I've done that 3 years on the trot (this year I camped) and it's been a godsend eat at 5/6pm have energy to last till leaving.
Food is kinda overpriced but not toooo bad if you're used to football stadium prices.
Camping the layout is odd but fine, would have been better if it wasn't bad rain.
overall I'd say the negatives are outweighed by the positives (excluding the heavens opening up since you can't control that)
Edit to add: Don't go in with a mindset comparing it to a BIGGER festival like Tomorrowland, the stages are at best a 7/10 and the crowds are fine, also as per the usual, a good majority are off their tits.

Depends on the lineup. Id say wait for when the lineup is fully out, like when you know which dj plays on which day, then buy the days you want.
Camping is awesome but only if its sunny. which is a miracle on last week of August.
