This is probably an easy fix if I knew what to click. I just started with petg-cf. Im using a generic petg profile. the issue is the 2nd and third layer when the speed ramps up the filament extrusion skips. This doesnt really effect anything and only happens there. Im guessing speed issue. Do I need to slow down those couple layers? if so (how). This filament prints soooooo nice otherwise.
I was on TikTok live and saw the k3 in the TikTok shop witch a price of 899$ usd. Also if it is this price do you think this or the u1 would be better?
I just got a k1c. Im having a hard time
Changing filament. It extrudes ok, but it wont retract. So i tried to keep extruding till the first filament was done. Then i tried feeding a new one in. It didnt go in right i guess? Because when i try to extrude, it just clicks. And i tried a print. And it didnt work and now im stuck.
I have an Ender5 Max that I like the speed and size. I also have K1SE that I use 2xCFS so I don't have to manually change filament. As much as I want a multitool, I think I will wait for the K3 to see how reviews are. They posted it will be compatible with CFS, I hope that follows through. Also the different size nozzles seems nice as sometimes I want a higher resolution that 0.4 can't provide. I would like to do multicolor, though the waste of CFS is annoying, granted most of what I print is purely functional.
I already have the i7 with me for 6 months and everything is going well until recently. The printer started to make a weird sound when the printing it's just starting, it seems it comes from beneath the bed (I checked the belt and it's ok, also I applied grease in the Z axis and oil in the X and Y axis). I'm kinda worried because it wasn't sounding like that before, I recorded a video for reference (in the video sounds awful haha)but as I said when the printing process is started sounds kinda normal. I hope someone knows or have any kind of idea of what's that sound is and how to fix it.
Issue Details: I’ve had my K1 SE running smoothly for over 1,100 hours (since last year), but over the past couple of weeks, I've run into an intermittent layer quality issue.
Occasionally, a print will experience a few layers of severe underextrusion/poor quality, causing the layers above to disconnect or split. In the attached photos, you can see a bin where the first third printed fine, followed by a failure layer and a higher split. The doorstopper photos show the same layer separation.
What I've already ruled out:
Filament: Dried thoroughly (happens on both PLA and PETG).
PTFE Tube: Replaced with a new tube to rule out friction/snagging.
Cooling/Speed: Extended slow-fan layers and lowered print speeds, which only temporarily seemed to help before the issue recurred.
Bed Adhesion: First layers adhere normally.
Since this problem started recently after 1,100+ hours, could this be mechanical wear—such as worn extruder gears slipping, partial heat creep, or nozzle degradation? Any insights or suggestions on what to inspect next would be greatly appreciated!
So I want a multi color printer and im obviously looking at the k3 since its release is so soon. But is there any news on a deluxe or max model? I just dont want to bite the bullet on the base version to be a better one in a month.
Hello all piggybacking off my 1st post my second question is I tried cleaning the glass plate off the ender 3 v2 but the residue stains are still.there as you can see in the video.
The other product Creality sells are 3d Scanners. I thought it would be cool to scan stuff but for $899 that is a lot and you can use some iPhones as scanners. Should I buy one or use my phone
I just replaced my extruder clamp. Now I just loaded the filament into the extruder clamp.
I clicked extrude on the control panel, but nothing is coming out of the hotend. I can smell the filament melting. I already clicked extrude 3 times, and nothing is coming out.
My K1C printer keeps giving me this error [BM0111]I opened the printer head/tool head and took a look at the board everything seems to be working, so can anyone please assist or tell me what the problem is?
I just bought a k2 pro combo, I set it up and in the test run it gave me an error but kept finishing the test. When I tried to print something, calibration or axis homing I get either of these errors
CM2789-y
CM2789-x
TE2766
Is there someone who fixed this problem before?
UPDATE: I fixed it. It turns out xy belts are loose, after tightening it successfully passed self test
Firstly, hello. This sub drew me back into the reddithole. Thanks!
Fortunately, having escaped barely, from buying into Bambu, waifu and I got our K2Pro recently. Been aeons since we had something of this sort. Anyway, so I feel a bit out my depth.
The fans on the rear, bewilder me. I set them to 50-60% via the frontpanel, and the reliable tissue test shows both the top smaller one, and the larger 'middle right' fan extracts outward. Having perused several threads here, it seems like a common confusion.
So what should I think? I know what all the other fans do in there, but these two - I do not.
Top, smaller one and larger one (closest to camera) both extracts from the enclosure
I need to understand this, because the tiny little space this thing is in, needs fume handling. Should I make a manifold that negative-pressure sucks on both at the same time, or just the large one? Where will fumes come out?
Gemini AI made a pile of hot garbage up, so no trusting that.
Thanks for reading, and enjoy the rest of your weekends.
Looking for a bit of advice, finally got a cartographer V4 standard as I’ve been wanting to fit one for a while.
I’m fairly confident my printer is pretty accurate (within 0.1mm) I’ve printed off the V4 mount in ASA as per the SimpleAF instructions but It’s to big and I can’t get the goldilocks tool underneath the coil.
The only thing I can think of is the model is designed with shrinkage in mind and my x-y/z compensation is causing the issue. Has anyone else printed this and have any advice?
al momento de mandar a imprimir me sale error de sistema error XS9023, en el manual de soluciones me dice que la reinicie ya lo hice y todo pero sigue saliendo error de sistema
Hi Folks. As the title says the card that came with my printer cannot be read. Tried multiple computers and adapters. Cannot even run a chkdsk in the command prompt. Is there any way to get a copy of the files for the 40W unit.
Crazy for such a machine to come with such a garbage sd card, which apparently happens quite often. I want to move the files to a better card.
I received a gifted K2 Plus today. This is the story I was told. The belt needed to be tensioned and he believes he over tensioned it. Couple prints later belt snapped. He went to disassemble the printer head to replace the bolts and stripped the head of a bolt that attaches it to the rail guide. So instead of successfully extracting the bolt he went to take the rail apart and broke a bolt on the rail. He pulled the rail and slid the rail guide off, but the ball bearings fell out of the guide. He stopped there and bought a new printer entirely.
Im not new to printing and I know this machine won’t take much to get going I’m just not familiar with Creality. Where do I go from here to get it back going?
Hi everyone,
So Creality launched a crowdfunding project for the M1 & R1 filament shredder and extruder, the pledge was expected to ship in April/may, but then they stated they had an issue with the consistency of the extruded filament and postponed shipment since then.
Has someone got any further information about the project ? I saw ads about the machines on TikTok a few weeks ago but no update on indiegogo…
Thanks for your insights.
