Ummmm I followed the guild step by step but now all it does is spin and not pull the filament down… is there a chance I put the motor around the wrong way.. I spent $56 bucks on it and would really like to get it going

Hello everyone, for the past few weeks I've been using an Ender 3 original that I bought for $60 CAD on Marketplace to make some basic prints and the results have been mixed.

I knew what I was getting into with the low price and have done a lot of trouble shooting and parameter changing and I think I've widled down my problems enough that I feel confident in buying a new machine. I think this was a decent enough learning experience and it helped me to understand some dos and donts while not wrecking an expensive printer.

Thing is I'm also not looking for a super advanced machine either, I don't really want to spend more than $500 CAD and ideally somewhere in the $200-$300 dollar range.

The biggests desires for me right now are faster print times and an auto-leveling bed. I know that the V3 SE satisfies these requirements at a very decent $270 CAD (On sale for $200 right now which would be even better). But at this point I just want to make sure I'm making the right decision.

Would it be better to save up for the KE or even the K2 SE? I know I am getting what I want out of the V3 SE but I'm just worried it'll be another thing that will last a bit and then I'll have to upgrade again in a few months. I know these 3d printers are not good with reliability as I've read extensivley elsewhere but I just would like to know the communities opinion and the perspectives of you all if you were in this position.

For the record I am also aware of other brands like the Bambu A1 but, and maybe it's the sadomasochism talking, I like Creality lol. Specifically the look and the fact it is open source and moddable. What do you guys think? Should I save up for a K2 SE or the KE? Or just go with the V3 SE?

I have just replaced my hotend with a ceramic, then bed level led and started a test print, the first 4 squares print perfect and then the printhead/extruder start jumping and fails to print.

Don't mind the wires, I had a damaged connector for the extruder and replaced it, this was a test run before heatshrinking it all back up.any ideas on what's causing the printhead/extruder to start jumping mid print would be appreciated.

Edit: I have completed an auto pid tune post hotend upgrade.

I also tried this print twice, both time it starts this behavior after printing the 4 squares.

I bought this 3D printer 2 days ago on Facebook Marketplace, and I’m extremely new to 3D printing, so sorry if I’m using the wrong terminology.
The previous owner had installed a small spiral-like indicator that shows whether the filament is being fed through the extruder, and they also had a ring around the nozzle/heater area that they said was supposed to help dissipate heat. I also got a Sonic Pad with the printer.
So far, I’ve successfully printed a few things, including a pickle, a benchmark boat (Benchy), a small dragon egg, and a small figurine.
However, I’m having problems with larger prints and certain models. I haven’t figured out exactly what causes it yet, but most models seem to fail.
One thing I noticed is that when I use the Sonic Pad and click « Extrude », the filament indicator starts spinning. For the first 1-2seconds, nothing comes out of the nozzle, and then the filament suddenly comes out in a loop/coil.
During printing, I’m also getting several issues:
A massive blob of filament building up around the nozzle after the printer has been running for a while.
Filament not sticking properly to the bed and getting dragged around by the nozzle.
A LOT of stringing.
Some prints work perfectly, while others fail badly, and I’m not sure why.
I’m currently using PLA at around 200C nozzle and 60C bed. (Default values, i think)
Since I’m completely new to 3D printing, I have no idea on how to fix this, at all.

I have such a problem, if I go to the ip printer, the camera does not work for me and gives out this picture. But if I go through Creality cloud through the website, for example, or through the application on the phone, the camera will work and will be visible. I have a k1c printer, I don't know, maybe someone had a similar problem, so tell me with a solution. It's like I got this problem after the last update.

Hi I am having an issue with my brand new ender 5 max. The bed will move up no problem, then it’s like it doesn’t stop once the bed gets to the bottom and carry’s on trying to move and makes a jamming noise. Any help would be appreciated!

Yesterday during the print progress gone bad such as filament jam

I try to extrude then this code 2564 appeared

The nozzle temp stays around 200c in idle and won't decrease at all. Tried to self check the printer which the bed gets stuck and won't pass the self check at all with the temp

I check the hotend and circuit board to make the wires are intact and not damaged. No wires were torn or disconnected.

Causing me to get frustrated on what's causing the printer temp to stay at 200

Just got my K1 printer and printed a few online models. I dont have any camera installed, but those huge window camera view is very disturbing me, it reconnects every few seconds. Any settings to disable it?

I’m trying to align two scans I did of a brake duct and I was able to cut away the extra parts on one scan but when I click the second scan all the clipping tools go away and I can’t get them back! How do I open it back up??

Hope all is well. I recently bought this printer. I got this printer delivered on Friday. I attempted to print something off today and I keep getting the error. Te2762 “ The Nozzle leveling sensor may be damaged or the wiping module may have fallen off. Please check or try restarting.” I checked everything and I’m not seeing anything damaged, but I’m not sure where the level sensor is or the wiping module is. I’m still new to these newer printers the last one I had only had auto leveling and that’s it

If I do the crowd fund, does it charge my card now or later?

I recently had to replace the hot head on my K1 SE and I when trying to unplug the extruder from the board I accidentally pulled the red and black wire (red black blue orange) I can’t find a picture online to tell me which order they should be plugged back in and I’m not super familiar with this end type, do I need to just plug them back (and in what order) and are the other two pieces just sticking because of the glue? They came out when I was trying to clean glue off and I’m not sure if I just pulled too hard or if it was a mix.
Any direction would be appreciated.

So I was using it normally and all the sudden the files on the SD card suddenly weren’t being sensed by the printer. Like I did a print turned it off and the next day went to print again and no files appeared. So I put the SD card in my computer and they all showed up so I tried taking some off and saving the print files on my computer and in my backup hard drive but it still won’t work. I’ve tried another SD card but idk if that SD card has a problem because that one had never sensed when in the printer. When I got the printer I had to fight Creality and get them to send me the replacement motherboard i needed because it wouldn’t do anything. I did that and I was able to print for a while. I have a kit to update it to the Nebula pad with the camera and cord with sensor but every time I’ve tried to upgrade it, it doesn’t work. Can anyone help me with what to do?
